Monica has a geology degree from the College of William and Mary and a law degree from the University of Wisconsin. She worked in the environmental field focusing on compliance for over 25 years, including as a U.S. EPA contractor, in various consulting positions, and in the energy sector.

In her current position with Tricol Biomedical she manages projects, oversees contracts, and is a liaison between the Sales and Marketing and Quality/Regulatory/Compliance groups.

Maggie Mandell is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) with more than 15 years of experience in environmental engineering and consulting. She began her career with a 7 year stint as a consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton, conducting environmental compliance audits and providing environmental management support to mostly DoD clients. She then transitioned to Potomac-Hudson Engineering, a small business engineering firm, followed by Versar (formerly J.M. Waller), where she supported dozens of EPA Superfund Site projects and was also co-chair of the Versar Sustainability Program.  Maggie joined Environmental Works, Inc. (EWI) in October 2019 and has been supporting a variety of environmental compliance and remediation projects.  Maggie recently became a certified FAA Part 107 drone pilot and looks forward to expanding EWI’s environmental services to include this technology.

Maggie earned a BSE in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Duke University and a MS in Environmental Engineering from Northwestern University. Originally from Bethesda, MD, she and her husband moved to Denver in 2013; they spend their free time taking advantage of all that beautiful Colorado has to offer… hiking, biking, and skiing… with their daughter, son, and furbaby.

Jessica Francis has about six years of environmental consulting experience with a focus on environmental management,permitting and compliance, and regulatory reporting for clients in Colorado, Arizona, Texas, Louisiana, and Florida. Ms.Francis specializes in environmental support for commercial development including environmental due diligence,materials management, and remediation. Ms. Francis also has a background in stormwater management, environmental health and safety consulting, and asbestos analysis. Ms. Francis is on the Board of Directors for the Rocky Mountain Association of Environmental Professionals (RMAEP) and a member of the Colorado Environmental Management Society (CEMS).

David Gratson is a Senior Technical Chemist with over 35 years of applied environmental chemistry experience. He provides chemistry consulting services including analytical laboratory auditing, data troubleshooting, geochemistry, and forensic interpretation. He started his career at what is now Eurofins TestAmerica Denver, then at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, Colorado. For the past twenty years he has been providing analytical chemistry and regulatory expertise to private industry clients throughout the US, as well as to the US EPA, the Department of Energy, and NASA. Though he is located in New Mexico, David is routinely in Colorado supporting clients in the Denver and front-range area.

David earned a MS in Environmental Scientist and Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a BS from Allegheny College. He is an avid fly fisherman and also enjoys gardening, and hiking in the Rocky Mountains.

Paul Gruca is a Certified Water Professional and serves as a Project Manager for Weaver Consultants Group (WCG) with over 13 years of environmental consulting experience.  He joined WCG at their Chicago headquarters in 2011, primarily responsible for environmental due diligence, dig/haul and in-situ injection remedial projects, and state voluntary cleanup program closures for projects across the Midwest.  Paul transitioned to WCG’s Remediation Services Group with a move to Denver in 2019. Paul’s primary duties include the design, construction, implementation, and performance evaluations of automated and self-implemented remedial programs.  These remedial programs utilize technologies employing enhanced reductive dechlorination, chemical oxidation/reduction, bio-augmentation, zero-valent iron, and others through various application approaches.  Paul is also a certified Industrial Wastewater Treatment Operator, managing multiple wastewater treatment plants and ex-situ groundwater/vapor remedial treatment systems.  These remediation projects and programs are located across the country.

Paul earned a BS in Environmental Geosciences from Northern Illinois University with a focus on Geology.  Originally from Chicagoland, Paul loved living in downtown Chicago, but always had a desire to move west for the topography and scenery, Paul moved to Denver in 2019 to focus on large scale environmental remediation projects.  Paul enjoys hiking and bicycling, loves cooking and walks with his dog Lenny, and recently rekindled a former semi-professional paintball career from his youth.
