Advanced Site Characterization & Optimized In Situ Remediation Support

We are looking for two different levels of experiences here:

Senior & Entry Level Environmental Field Technicians;
(Geoprobe® Drill Rig Operators, Remediation (Injection) Technician, Direct Sensing Technician)

Full Time Hourly positions are offered in: Colorado Location – The Greater Denver Area

Our headquarters in located in Golden, CO. (Potential Houston location for experienced operators)

Compensation:
• Starting hourly rate $17 – $35 per hour, experience dependent.
• 40-60 hours per week anticipated. 500 hours of overtime annually is typical. Primary job duties depending on

Experience Level include:
• Operating Geoprobe® Combo Direct-Push Technology (DPT) & auger rigs.
• Drilling with Solid Stem Augers, Hollow Stem Augers, split spoon cores, and standard penetration tests.
• Monitor well installation with HSA, SSA, and DPT tooling.
• Running DPT Dual-Tube coring tools, ground water sampling tools and soil gas sampling tools.
• Collecting soil, soil gas and ground water samples for environmental site investigations.
• Subsurface injection of various reagents for in situ soil and ground water remediation
• Operation of various portable sampling and testing instruments
• Maintenance, trouble shooting and repair of trucks, rigs, equipment, hydraulics, pumps, etc.
• Writing project data summary reports.
• Assisting and operating Geoprobe® Direct-Push Technology (DPT) and auger rigs
• Project setup, loading and unloading rigs for site projects
• Potential opportunity to work into our Subsurface Direct Imaging borehole logging services.
• Maintenance and servicing of drilling rigs and other equipment.
• Travel is required including both in state and out of state locations, and occasionally through weekends.
• Work is year-round, outdoors and in all weather conditions.

Experienced Qualifications:
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER (CFR 1910.120) certification
• Class A CDL and clean Motor Vehicle Record (or obtain within 2 months of hire – training provided)
• Mechanical, fabrication, welding skills are preferred.
• Associate or bachelor degree preferred, especially those who majored/minored in Geology, Environmental/Earth Sciences, or Science.
• Writing skills for logging borings, recording accurate fields notes, daily reports, and project summary reports.
• Driller’s License in one or more states preferred. NGWA Certified Well Driller a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Entry Level Qualifications:
• Training is available for entry level positions
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER (CFR 1910.120) certification is preferred or required within two weeks.
• Must be physically fit, and be able to pass a Drug Test, DOT & HAZWOPER medical clearance, and respirator medical clearance. Physical endurance test required including ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds.
• Associate or bachelor degree preferred, especially those who majored/minored in Geology, Environmental/Earth Sciences, or Science.
• Candidates with a current and valid CDL are preferred or you must acquire a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) within 60 days of employment. (Training provided)
• A clean driving record is required.
• Mechanical and fabrications skills are a plus.

Job Requirements:
• Pre-employment and Random Drug and Alcohol testing (Clearinghouse FMCSA requirement)
• Background check
• DOT & HAZWOPER medical clearance, and respirator medical clearance.
• Physical endurance and heavy lifting is required including the ability to safely lift ~ 100 pounds.
