SWEP Luncheon – That’s a Good Corner – Tuesday, March 26
March 26 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
Please join SWEP Rocky Mountain Chapter for a speaker event on Tuesday March 26th, which will feature Jane Bral, P.G., from the Colorado Division of Oil and Public Safety Petroleum Brownfields program presenting “That’s a Good Corner”. The Petroleum Cleanup and Redevelopment Fund (Redevelopment Fund), created within the Division of Oil and Public Safety (OPS), is designed to catalyze the investigation and cleanup of contamination at abandoned and former gas stations and other petroleum storage tank properties. These sites are common in almost every community throughout Colorado, many being unaddressed for decades. These former storage tank sites are generally not eligible to the Petroleum Storage Tank Fund (PSTF). The Redevelopment Fund can provide reimbursement to a property owner for costs incurred for tank removal, site assessment and cleanup. The application process to become eligible to the Redevelopment Fund will be discussed along with some success stories..
The event will be held at Colorado Division of Oil and Public Safety, 633 17th St., Suite 500, Denver CO 80202
Check-in opens at 11:30 a.m. The event runs from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. with a catered lunch ($20 for SWEP members and $25 non-members, cash or check at check-in). You are welcome to pay your 2019 SWEP Membership dues at check-in as well.
