Please join the SWEP Rocky Mountain Chapter for an event on Wednesday January 24th, which will feature Katelyn Hall, MPH of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s Marijuana Health Monitoring and Research Program. Katelyn will be talking about monitoring changes in marijuana use and potential health effects. Colorado voters legalized recreational marijuana in November 2012 with Amendment 64. Katelyn will discuss pre/post-legalization trends of marijuana use among pregnant and breastfeeding women, children, adolescents, young adults, and adults 21+ years old in Colorado. She will also discuss potential marijuana health effects seen in hospital and emergency department discharges and poison control center calls.

The event will be held at the CDPHE Building A, Carson Conference Room, located at  4300 Cherry Creek Drive South in Denver.

Check-in begins at 11:30. The event runs from 12:00 to 1:00 with a catered lunch ($20 for SWEP members and $25 non-members). You are welcome to pay your 2018 SWEP Membership fees at check-in as well.

Please RSVP by January 22nd to mountainswep@gmail.com.

As SWEP orders lunches ahead of time, they do ask if you RSVP and cannot attend, please give them at least 24-hour notice. If you do not give them 24-hour notice, they kindly request that you pay for lunch.
