Abstract:

In 2019, Colorado adopted science-based goals of reducing greenhouse gas pollution reduction goals of 26% by 2025 and 50% by 2030 from a 2005 baseline. To make progress toward those goals, Governor Polis directed state agencies to work together to develop a GHG Roadmap Reduction Roadmap that would assess the sources of pollution and outline actions the state can take. The presentation will cover the key findings of the Roadmap, discuss the action steps the state can take, and provide an update on the legislative and regulatory agenda.
