Keegan will tell the story of how the Arvada Sustainability Advisory Committee helped the City of Arvada adopt an organized waste and recycling system. He will provide some details about the recycling system in Colorado and why recycling is essential. He will also speak about what other Jefferson County municipalities have tried and why Arvada was different and successful.
Keegan Conley is a project consultant at Spirit Environmental, where he works on various projects, including air quality permitting and compliance and sustainability services. Keegan provides air quality permitting, regulatory, and GHG reporting support for multiple clients, including oil and gas companies, private enterprises, and municipal clients. Keegan has experience leading a voluntary committee, turning committee plans into actions, and representing the City of Arvada and the Arvada Sustainability Advisory Committee in sustainability-oriented public events.
