RMAEP webinar – Taking a Conservative Approach to PFAS Monitoring and Mitigation
|Thursday, April 29, 2021
12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
Since 1978 Geotech has been at the leading edge of manufacturing technology used to collect environmental samples that comply with EPA Clean Water Act initiatives. The emerging contaminates per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) now pose widespread contamination concerns, environmental risk, human health implications, and challenges with sampling and mitigation. With a growing need to bring scientific solutions to government and private sectors, Geotech began removing compounds associated with PFAS sources from common environmental sampling products. This presentation will focus on how environmental sampling equipment is being modified to meet detection levels of PFAS compounds in parts per trillion.
Andrew has worked for the past 20 years at Geotech Environmental Equipment, Inc. in various capacities from National Account Manager to Global Marketing Manager. Andrew has been on the cutting edge with environmental technology including using UAS platforms for environmental work. Andrew assists in product development and has been involved in he process of developing new products to meet the ever changing world of sampling needs.
