Geosyntec Consultants presents TRI Reporting for PFAS – What Should I be Doing to get Ready?

Thu, Jul 9, 2020 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM MDT

Certain Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) were added to the Superfund Amendment and Reauthorization Act (SARA) 313 Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) list in early 2020. Given that TRI reporting for PFAS is effective for reporting (and calendar) year 2020, for which TRI reports are due by July 1, 2021, what should potential TRI reporters be doing now to prepare? This webinar will provide recommended best practices for facilities to take during CY2020 to be able to determine – and as importantly, document – whether or not the facility is subject to TRI reporting for PFAS for RY2020. The webinar will touch on documenting PFAS concentrations in raw materials coming in and waste streams going out of facilities, how best to document these concentrations, recommendations for records to be kept during CY2020 to support the PFAS TRI reporting threshold determination, as well as documentation for TRI Form A applicability.
