The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will have a significant role in helping President Joe Biden carry out his promise to address climate change with aggressive policies and reversing many of the other administrative policy and regulatory actions established by the Trump administration.
This presentation will provide an overview of Biden’s first 100 days and how and the impacts of administrative priorities such as rolling back the roll back on addressing climate change, environmental justice, and the bolstering of EPA’s approach to enforcement. The administration plans to utilize all the available procedural mechanisms for change (e.g., Executive action, Legislative action, and Judicial action) to marshal in their agenda; therefore, specific and detailed information in the presentation will include ongoing and expected policy and regulatory changes associated with the CAA, CWA, TSCA, PFAS/SDWA, RCRA and CERCLA.
