Please join AWMA for their next lunch meeting, where they will discuss “Air Quality – What’s Happening in the Oil & Gas Industry.”

The meeting will be held in person, from 12PM-1PM, on Thursday, September 16th, at Liberty Oilfield Services (950 17th Street, Suite 2400). Please check in on the 24th floor and then proceed to the conference room on the 23rd floor. Lunch will be provided.

Summary:

Air quality needs have been and will continue to change in Colorado.  Come listen to Christy Woodward of the Colorado Oil and Gas Association talk about upcoming regulatory changes for the December GHG rulemaking coupled with the Colorado Emission Inventory.

Presenter’s Bio:

Ms. Woodward has 22 years’ experience in civil and environmental engineering design and project management, including air and water quality permitting, National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permitting and compliance and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) assessments.  She is an Environmental Engineer and has provided technical support for the oil and gas industry, the homebuilding industry, mining industry, other private clients, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the Department of Defense (DoD).  Ms. Woodward provided technical design skills, report writing, and project management for a wide-ranging environmental health and safety projects.  Her technical experience includes rulemaking, litigation, waste rock characterization, regulatory compliance, permitting, and agency negotiation; planning and implementation of surface and subsurface investigations and remedial evaluations; remedial design and implementation; design and implementation of hydrogeological, hydrological, and sedimentation studies; watershed management projects; and stormwater control projects.  In addition, Ms. Woodward has facilitated and led teams of air engineers, legal counsel and environmental health and safety professionals through rulemaking and compliance assistance during her 22-year career.
